Tournée asiatique de Obama
BEIJING, Nov. 21 (Xinhuanet) -- Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao has discussed bilateral relations with US President Barack Obama on the sidelines of the seventh East Asia Summit in Cambodia.
The two sides hailed the cooperative and constructive US-China relationship, saying it is important for the two countries to promote trade and investment. Wen Jiabao said he hoped the two countries' continuing partnership would send a positive message to the world. He added China would look to build new relations between major powers and enhance other mechanisms for bilateral talks.
For his part, Obama said he is committed to working with China. The US President said cooperation between the two countries is of vital importance to the security and prosperity of the Asia-Pacific region and the world.
